That was my experience with Doodle Pantry. I have a few of their images, and they are cute, and I like to use them. But I never took the time to look around at what they had to offer other than freebies. Until I saw they were having a small sale and decided to just take a few minutes to browse around at their images. Sort of a big mistake to browse because I wanted to purchase every image they have! (I kept myself to 6)...You must go check them out and see all their cuteness!
So, to go along with my new found
I stuck to sort of a black and white color scheme, only adding color with my image. It turned out so cute that way! I really love it!
I added a small personal touch to it with the sentiment. "Long as I Live" is a song by John Michael Montgomery that we had played during our unity candle lighting at our own wedding and I thought it was a good sentiment that worked with the wedding/anniversary theme I was going for.
There are small silver liquid pearls in the corners, and I added tiny white paint dots all around the image for added elegance. I also added glitter to the flowers on the side of their sweet little heart house.
I followed the sketch at Creative Inspirations this week, but moved a few of the panels around. I really wanted to use this fancy die cut frame from Spellbinders, but I didn't want to use the giant one. So I used the second largest and just shifted the two back panels to the outsides of the card.
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
