Peace & Joy

Happy Monday!
I hope you all had a fabulous weekend and are ready for a brand new Inky Paws challenge!
This week we want you to use Silver or Gold on your projects!
I took a very simple approach to my card this week and started by die cutting 2 panels with the Flags and Frames die set.  On one panel, I cut the bottom into a V and then used the new Plaid Stencil set overtop to create a gorgeous soft background.  I used Evergreen Bough distress oxide ink with a super light hand, and some silver ink.

Then I silver heat embossed an image from the Poinsettia Blooms set and did some really simple watercoloring to create white flowers.  I stamped the large flower twice so that I could cut out some of the layers and pop them up for a bit of dimension on that flower.  Then I trimmed the whole thing out and layered it onto my stenciled panel.

I masked off one of the larger sentiments in Sentiments of the Season so that all I stamped was the peace & joy in silver ink, and that was it!

Really simple, but super elegant!  I am totally in love with this card!!

I hope you'll join us!

Thanks so much for visiting! <3
