Well check it out...I finally had time to make a card for Tuesday Throwdown! It's been a rather long time! I'm so thankful for the patience that team has given me during my absence...
So are you ready for our challenge? It's an easy one! Anything Goes! And our awesome sponsor is Sparkle n Sprinkle! They have provided us with some great images for this challenge.
I chose to use Winter Blue Jay because I thought this birdie was just so stinking cute. He's colored up with my copic markers and then fussy cut out so I could adhere him to my card with some foam tape.
I used some Iced Spruce Distress Oxide ink and did a gradient blended background so the color was concentrated in one corner and then faded out to white. That was splattered with water since oxide inks react to water and give that really cool droplet look. I also splattered some white shimmer mist on the background and the image to try and represent falling snow. It really gave the card some shine.
The finishing touches were just a few Nuvo drops in Simply White and a simple sentiment.
I hope you'll join us this week for our fun Anything Goes challenge at Tuesday Throwdown!! <3
Wow! Stunning.
