Color

I'm extremely late with my Paper Makeup post today!  So sorry!  It hasn't been the best day here :(

So this week we are challenging you to tie it up!  Let's see all those knots and bows on your creations!
I had a rough time with this challenge.  I didn't want to just do the normal little bow like I put on most of my cards.  It's a challenge, so I wanted to go bigger.  With some help from Matthew, I finally got something to work.
I used Nole from Paper Makeup and colored him in with  my pencils.  Then added stickles to the lights so they twinkled.  I didn't want it to be a Christmas card, so I added a fun color scheme and sentiment to the whole thing.

Then punched a border with my MS Lace Edge punch and wrapped some twine through some of the holes.  Turned out colorful, just the way I wanted it.

Hope you will join us this week at Digi Makeover!  Thanks for stopping by!

  3. Oh, this is sweet! I just love that cute image, and all the bright colors, and lacing the twine was a fantastic idea--it ties right in with the little guy tangled in the lights!
