Dino Friends

Happy Monday!
Wow, what a weekend!  We are in the middle of moving to a new apartment...it's crazy once you start packing to see how much stuff you have accrued...it never feels like we have that much.  But we made several trips to the new place with a loaded car full of boxes.  Made a few repairs (Matthew even surprised me by fixing the screen in one of the sliders!  He's so fabulous :) ) and we plugged in some Air Wick air fresheners to try and cover up the bad smoker smell that comes in from the rest of the apartments.

We had some crazy winds on Saturday so we opened up both sliders and let the gusts of air just fly through the place.  It was pretty awesome!  I love having sliders...let alone 2!!

So onto Digi Makeovers challenge this week :)
We want to see your animal friends!  I love making animal cards.  They can be a challenge sometimes, but animals are so much more versatile than people images...so they work for just about anything.

We've had some fabulous new digi images added to the store this week, be sure to check them out!  One of them was Carter the Dino Fairy, and I had to use him!
He's just so cute sittin on his dino in his little dino hoodie!  I realized after I took and posted the pics that I forgot to sparkle up his wings...so I will need to go back and do that.  But at the same time, he sort of looks okay without all the sparkle.

I colored my image with my pencils and distressed all the paper edges with my scissors.  It's a pretty simple layout which worked well for this image.  I printed off the sentiment and flagged the end.  Then made up a small button to affix at the top.
Quick and easy...which is nice since my time is pretty crunched with packing.

I hope you will join us this week at Digi Makeover!  Remember to use a digi, and visit the rest of the Makeup Artists to see their fabulous animal friends!

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
    A Gem of a Challenge #76-Distress It
    Aud Sentiments #78-For a Guy

Thanks for stopping by!
