Snow Blower!

Happy Friday!
Is everyone ready for the weekend?  I know I am!!  It's going to be a good one...looking at a new apartment and hanging out with new friends!  Can't wait!!

I'm attempting to keep pushing through my Christmas cards.  It's hard when I don't get to work in my room with my normal set up.  I feel very flustered and lost when I look at all my stuff piled on the kitchen table in no particular order...but I'm trying :)

My world was also put into a tail spin when my cricut died last weekend.  Wasn't real sure what I was going to do, and that's when I realized I have the best husband in the world!  While I fretted over the cost of a new die cut machine, he dragged me out the door and bought me one!! :)  So we don't buy groceries for a few weeks...oh well!  At least I have a die cut machine!  Lol :)

So here is my first card using my brand new Silhouette Cameo!
Isn't she cute?? :)  I'm still learning how to tackle the's a process after I have been using the Cricut for so many years.  I got into such a routine between DesignStudio and Sure Cuts a Lot that I hardly had to think about what I was just happened.  But now, it's all new!  And a little I stuck with the freebie cuts to begin with for this card :)

The cutie in the image is Snow Blower from Saturated Canary.  Such a fun image and great for winter :)  I love the little elephant blowing the snow!

The card base, the scallop border, and the snowflakes are all die cuts from the Silhouette library.  The snowflakes had a little bit of a hard time cutting that small, but I trimmed them up a bit and added some glitter paint to the tips so it all worked out :)

The larger snowflake die cut under the image is the Memory Box Snowflake Corner.  Love that die cut!  Lots of sparkle on this card.  Snow has to sparkle!  But I love it...all of it!  And I'm excited to really dive into my Cameo goodness :)
I'm entering this card in the following challenges:
DigiStamps4Joy #54-Bingo...with a difference (G column-no twine, no scarecrow, Snowflakes!, no gems, no punches)
    Dilly Bean-Anything Girl
    Fab n Funky #145-Die Cuts

    1. Hi Lisa! So far I love my new Silhouette! I'm learning and getting quicker at converting my SVG files over to a studio file, so that hasn't been too bad. Getting the blade depth and pressure correct has been a little bit of a struggle...but is fixed pretty quick with a few adjustments. But so far, I'm really happy with it :)
