Kitty Wreath

Hello hello!  Happy Monday!
We're starting another fabulous challenge for you at Inky Paws and this time it's a fun festive color challenge!  Perfect to get a jump start on your holiday cards!
I have been obsessed with the Pines and Holly Die Set from Newton's Nook lately.  They are the perfect shapes and so wonderful and easy to use on holiday cards!  So I decided to pull them out (or open them because they haven't left my desk since I bought them :) ) and cut out a whole bunch of the pine branch and holly leaf.  I kept the pine branches white with just a little bit of grey to them to help mute them down a little bit.

Then I pulled out the new and fabulous Santa Paws Newton and chose the adorable image with the gift bag to add in the center of my wreath.  I colored her up like my little Cloud with some colored pencils and then trimmed her out.  The wreath was all layered together and then I added some red glitter stickles to represent berries and foam mounted my kitty in the center.

To the background, I die cut my black panel and inked up the edges with some white pigment ink.  Then used some white shimmer mist to add some flecks and splatters for a little more interest.  White heat embossed my sentiment and the card was done!

I hope you will join us for this awesome challenge!  Just remember to use some Newton's Nooks products!

Thanks so much for stopping by! <3
