Figured I'd get my post done up while Matthew sleeps :)
I've got another "manly" card to share with you today. Like I mentioned yesterday, manly cards aren't all that easy for me...I struggle a lot with them and that was especially true for this card. I kept going round and round in circles trying to work something out that wasn't all pink and frilly...it took me a few attempts but I finally got something to stick.
I must say, I love my Lawn Fawn papers! They work for everything! I stamped out my wood grain and inked around the edges to polish off the image. It's layered onto some scraps from my stash and other Lawn Fawn papers. The little tags are from Lili of the Valley and their tied onto the trunk with some twine from The Twinery.
I left off all the gems and sparkles, but I did use a little bit of Wink of Stella clear glitter pen on the heart in the wood grain for just a touch of shimmer.
And my sister loved it!! Yes!! Always feels good when I am successful at capturing the feel someone is looking for in a card :)
I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
