Girly Girl

Happy Monday!
I hope the start of your week has been fabulous!  We are beginning a new challenge today at Digi Makeover and it's Girly Girl!

The first thing I think of when you say girly girl is pink and animal print...so I ran with that!
We have 2 weeks until we have to be fully moved out of our current apartment, so my mission has been to try and use as much of my scrap paper as I can so I don't have so much of it to move :)

This card did just that!  I took a little risk in using two different prints together.  But I sort of loved how the pink leopard print stood out on the zebra strips.  So I stacked those together and used a light pink in the background as sort of the neutral ground for the two prints.

Everything is matted with black card stock.  I cut out my scallop frame with my Cameo and then printed off my sweet image-miss Emma from Paper Makeup Stamps.  She is colored in with my pencils and then trimmed into a circle with my scallop scissors.  I wrapped some twine from The Twinery behind my layers and then flagged a sentiment stamp at the bottom.

The final girly touch was the clear gems in the corners :)

I hope you will join us this week!  Be sure to check out the rest of the fabulous digi makeup artists creations, and remember, all you have to do is use a digi!

I'd like to enter this card into the following challenges:
    Chocolate, Coffee, Cards #36-Color Inspiration
    Crafts 4 Eternity #119-Wonderful Wings
    Shelly's Images-Use Scallops
    There She Goes #203-Just Because
