Today starts a new challenge week at Tuesday Throwdown! This weeks challenge is "Hip to be Square" so we want to see lots and lots of squares on your cards! Not too difficult, right?
Here is my card:
I have used Tulip Fairy. It's an image I won quite awhile ago and I thought it would work perfect for this challenge.
She's colored in with my colored pencils and I added a little glitter to her wings and some of the details around the image.
I cut some patterned paper into squares and alternated them behind the image. Then I punched out a heart border on the top and bottom of those squares.
The sentiment is from Ginger's House. The final touch was making some square buttons to embellish the card with.

ReplyDeleteThanks NC! The buttons I made myself. Just cut some square, punched the holes out with my eyelet tool and smothered them in glossy accents :) I love making my own buttons since I don't actually have any of the real thing! Lol... :)
