I am sharing with you today a round birthday card! I don't normally do round cards because...well I'm not sure why, but this one was super fun to make!
The sketch I chose to use is from this site: Mojo Monday which I found by doing a Google image search.
Wild Card cartridge, along with the large red border which is also then embossed using my Swiss Dots folder.
Holiday Cakes cartridge. I added a yellow/cream colored circle cut from George and Basic Shapes to the yellow scallop circle and then added some detailing with a gold gel pen.
The leaves under the pie are from the Cheerful Seasons cartridge, which I also added gold detailing to before gluing them under the pie.
Thanksgiving cartridge. I cut it out twice and placed the white cutout behind the brown for added dimension and detailing. The swirls didn't cut out properly on the brown cutout, so I trimmed some of them off and cleaned up a few of the frayed edges before adding it to the white cutout. I like how it looks on the white. It helps stand it out a bit more from the yellow background.
Then I just added my ribbon, pearls and sentiment!
